<\/span>Terminal<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The Sausalito Ferry terminal<\/a>, also known as the Sausalito ferry landing, is a historic site. It has a long history dating back to 1868 when the Sausalito Land and Ferry Company began running a ferry service between Sausalito and San Francisco. Passenger ferry service was discontinued on February 28, 1941, before Golden Gate Ferries restarted the ferry service to San Francisco, along with bus service to the terminal, on August 15, 1970. Finally, a new, modern ferry dock was constructed in 1996.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
