It frequently serves the <a href=\"http:\/\/localhost:4097\/ca\/alameda-san-francisco\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"41\">Alameda Ferry<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/localhost:4097\/ca\/alameda-seaplane-lagoon\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"786\">Alameda Seaplane Ferry<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/localhost:4097\/ca\/alameda-short-hop\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1184\">Alameda Short Hop Ferry<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/localhost:4097\/ca\/oakland-san-francisco\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"115\">Oakland Ferry<\/a> routes. It has capacity for 400 passengers, 50 bikes, features onboard restrooms, snacks, drinks and WIFI, and is wheelchair accessible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The vessel was built by Vigor (formerly Kvichak Marine Industries) at a cost of $15.1 million. It began service in July 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It uses two MTU 12V4000 engines and a propeller for propulsion, and can reach a service speed of 27 knots (31 miles per hour).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MV Cetus measures 41 meters in length and has a gross tonnage of 95 tons.
