MV Dorado is a Dorado Class passenger ferry owned and operated by San Francisco Bay Ferry in San Francisco, California. It has capacity for 320 passengers and features onboard restrooms, snack and drink bar, free WIFI, and is wheelchair accessible. It began service in 2022.

The vessel is not currently assigned to a ferry route. It will rotate through all the routes while San Francisco Bay Ferry gathers data on the vessel.

MV Dorado can reach a service speed of 36 knots, making it the fastest vessel San Francisco Bay Ferry’s fleet. It is also the first boat capable of docking at any of the San Francisco ferry system’s 12 ferry terminals.

Dorado was designed by One2Three Naval Architects and built by Mavrik Marine, a commercial boat builder in La Conner, Washington, for $15 million. Construction was managed by Aurora Marine Design.
