MV Delphinus<\/strong> is a Dorado Class<\/strong> passenger ferry<\/a> currently under construction for the San Francisco Bay Ferry<\/a> in San Francisco, California. It will have capacity for 320 passengers and feature onboard restrooms, snack and drink bar, free WIFI, and will be wheelchair accessible. It is expected to begin service in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The vessel is not currently assigned to a ferry route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n MV Delphinus will be able to reach a service speed of 36 knots, making it one the fastest vessels in San Francisco Bay Ferry’s fleet. It will also be capable of docking at any of the San Francisco ferry system’s 12 ferry terminals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Delphinus is being built by Mavrik Marine, a commercial boat builder in La Conner, Washington, for $15 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\nPhotos of MV Delphinus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
