MV Yakima is a Super class auto and passenger ferry operated by Washington State Ferries<\/a>, a child department of the Washington State Department of Transportation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accessible restrooms are available on both passenger decks as well as an accessible shelter and restroom on the car deck. Elevator access is available from both auto decks to both passenger decks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other amenities include a galley on the upper passenger deck and a limited amount of vending and newspaper machines on the lower passenger deck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MV Yakima is named for the Yakama word meaning “black bears”, “runaway” and\/or “people of the narrow river”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
