On Friday, March 3, 2023, the San Francisco Bay Area Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA) released a proposal<\/a> for increasing San Francisco Bay Ferry<\/a> fares 3% annually for the next five years. The new ferry<\/a> fares would go into effect on July 1, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
All ferry routes operated by SFBF would see an annual 3% increase in fares for regular service. This would increase one-way fares from $4.50 to $4.60 for the Oakland Ferry<\/a>, Alameda Ferry<\/a>, Richmond Ferry<\/a> and Harbor Bay Ferry<\/a> routes. One-way fare for the South San Francisco Ferry<\/a> route would increase from $6.75 to $7.00. And the Vallejo Ferry<\/a> route would see a one-way fare increase from $9.00 to $9.30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
