San Francisco Bay Ferry<\/a> has been seeing a surge in ridership over the past week, experiencing their biggest ridership weekend since Fleet Week back in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n According to data released by the San Francisco Bay Area Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA), San Francisco Bay Ferry achieved the following ridership milestones over the past week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This past weekend, SF Bay Ferry’s transbay service totaled 10,435 passengers, narrowly surpassing Presidents Day weekend 2023, and marking their highest weekend ridership figure so far this year according to Thomas Hall, WETA’s public information and marketing manager.[4]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n San Francisco Bay Ferry should continue to see an increase in ferry ridership in the coming months as more passengers will ride the ferry<\/a> thanks to service between Alameda<\/a>\/Oakland<\/a> and Vallejo<\/a> to Oracle Park for San Francisco Giants afternoon home games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Currently, average daily ridership sits at 69% when compared to April 2019, the last ‘normal’ April, so every rider counts as SF Bay Ferry continues to get ridership back up to pre-pandemic levels.
