MV Pisces

MV Pisces is a Gemini Class passenger ferry owned and operated by San Francisco Bay Ferry. It frequently serves the South San Francisco Ferry and Richmond Ferry routes. It has capacity for 225 passengers, 34 bikes, features onboard restrooms, snacks, drinks and WIFI, and is wheelchair accessible.

The vessel was built by Kvichak Marine Industries and Nichols Brothers Boat Builders at a cost of $8.6 million and began service in 2008. It uses two MTU 16V2000 engines and a propeller for propulsion giving it a service speed of 26 knots (30 miles per hour).

The MV Pisces measures 35.9 meters in length and has a gross tonnage of 90 tons. It runs on Bio Diesel B5 and has a fuel capacity of 2,400 gallons.
