Alameda Seaplane Lagoon Ferry Terminal
The Alameda Seaplane Lagoon ferry terminal, near the Alameda Naval Air Station, officially opened on Thursday, July 1, 2021.
The terminal is accessible via car, bus, or bicycle and, at a cost of $23 million, it provides commuters another option for getting to and from their jobs in downtown San Francisco.
The Alameda Seaplane Lagoon ferry terminal is located at 1701 Ferry Point Road, Alameda, CA 94501.
The ferry terminal is located at the Bay Trail’s end, providing easy bicycle and pedestrian access to the ferry.
AC Transit bus route Line 78 – Santa Clara Ave – Seaplane Lagoon stops directly in front of the terminal.
Another option is the Spirits Alley Trolley, a free shuttle connecting the Main Street Alameda terminal to Seaplane Lagoon ferry terminal. It operates on Fridays from 4-10 PM and Saturdays and Sundays from 1-7 PM.
