The Alameda Short Hop ferry has its own fare, separate from the fare to San Francisco. Each Alameda Short Hop ferry fare covers one way. SF Bay Ferry charges a discount fare to riders aged 65 or older, riders aged 5 to 17 and riders with Medicare cards or DMV disabled parking placards. Children under 5 ride free with a paying adult.

Ferry riders park at the 101 Washington Street garage near the Oakland ferry terminal. Riders validate the garage ticket at the ferry dock or on the boat before returning to the garage. The garage does not allow overnight parking. ACE Parking takes validation questions at (510) 451-8700.
AC Transit Line 72 stops at 2nd Street and Washington Street, and Line 12 stops at Embarcadero and Broadway. BART's 12th St. Oakland City Center station is a 15-minute walk away.
