The MV Caribbean is a auto and passenger ferry vessel serving the Cross Sound Ferry route between New London, Connecticut and Orient Point in Long Island, New York.
The vessel was built in 1972 by Blount Marine, a commercial boat building company in Warren, Rhode Island.
After five years providing ferry service throughout the Caribbean and West Indies, it was purchased by Cross Sound Ferry Services, Inc. in 1977.
