MV Susan Anne

The MV Susan Anne is a auto and passenger ferry vessel owned and operated by Cross Sound Ferry Services, Inc. It serves the Cross Sound Ferry, a ferry route between New London, Connecticut and Orient Point in Long Island, New York.

The MV Susan Anne is the third largest vessel in the Cross Sound Ferry fleet and has capacity for 840 passengers and 80 vehicles in total.

Amenities include WiFi, a complete food service offering snacks, beverages, beer, wine and cocktails as well as a lounge offering views of the scenery during the crossing.

The vessel was built in 1963 by Ferguson Industries of Pictou, Nova Scotia, Canada and was originally named Prince Nova. It sailed between Caribou, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island in Canada until 1997 when it was removed from service and replaced by the MV Holiday Island.

In 1998, Cross Sound Ferry Services, Inc. acquired the MV Prince Nova, completely refurbished it and renamed it to MV Susan Anne.
