The MV John H. is a auto and passenger ferry vessel owned and operated by Cross Sound Ferry Services, Inc. and serving the Cross Sound Ferry route between New London, Connecticut and Orient Point in Long Island, New York.
It was built in 1989 exclusively for Cross Sound Ferry by Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc, originally Eastern Marine, a shipbuilder in Panama City, Florida.
The vessel is the largest in the Cross Sound Ferry fleet. It measures 230 feet in length with a beam of 60 feet and has capacity for 100 vehicles and 1,000 passengers in total.
