Getting to the Tiburon ferry terminal is can be done by bike, bus or car.
By Bike
Getting to the Tiburon ferry by bicycle is easy because the Tiburon bike path will lead you directly to the ferry. Another option is to rent a bike in San Francisco and ride across the Golden Gate Bridge through Sausalito and then all the way into Tiburon. From there, you can take your bike on the ferry in Tiburon and travel back to San Francisco.
By Bus
Marin Transit offers public transportation by bus to the Tiburon ferry terminal. The following route will get you there.
- Route 219: Tiburon – Strawberry
The bus will stop at Tiburon Blvd. and Main St. From there, you will have a short 3-minute walk to the dock where you can catch the ferry.
By Car
If you are traveling or commuting by car from south of Tiburon:
- Travel across the Golden Gate Bridge going north
- Follow the US-101 N highway to the Tiburon Blvd. exit
- Take the Tiburon Blvd. exit
- Turn right and follow Tiburon Blvd into downtown Tiburon
If you are traveling or commuting by car from north of Tiburon
- Take US-101 S to exit 447
- Take exit 447 for CA-131 Tiburon Blvd./E Blithedale Ave.
- Turn left onto Tiburon Blvd and follow into downtown Tiburon
